Vicki Maroon (Peplin)

Hello everyone! My wedding was the last week of June so the pictures of Matt, my new husband, and I and Amanda McDowell and Elizabeth Fihe are very recent. Matt and I live in Lake Township (near Hartville), Ohio with our seven animals. I teach high school science at Green High School. I attended Eastern Michigan University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry. I then attended the University of Akron and earned my master's degree in Outdoor Education. I am currently working on my PhD at the University of Akron but I am planning on transferring to UC Davis (near Sacramento, CA) to complete my PhD in Science, Agricultural, and Environmental Education. Matt is living in Boston for the summer while working on a start-up company through the Y Combinator program. He hopes to start an online fantasy sports website that includes sports betting. Besides working on his new company, Matt is a professional poker player and author of his first book, Winning Texas Hold'em. We will not be able to attend the reunion because I will be walking in the 60-mile breast cancer walk in Cleveland that weekend.
