The first picture is James and myself and the second picture is Penguin.
After graduating Revere, I attended Ohio Northern University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Physics with a minor in applied Mathematics and teaching certification in 2001. In the fall of 2001, I began my teaching career as a long-term sub. Since my professors were wrong about it being so easy to find a teaching position as just a physics teacher, I enrolled at The University of Akron to take more math classes. In the fall of 2002, I found a fulltime teaching position at Danville High School teaching mostly math classes with the occasional physics class. In 2005 I received a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Akron. At Danville I was awarded Excellence in Education in 2003. However, I am most proud of having been in charge of Teen Institute and of Danville’s first After Prom. The kids had a blast and talked about it for weeks afterwards. In July I moved to Las Vegas with my fiancé, James Santee (a Copley alum). Starting this fall I will be teaching at Liberty High School in Henderson (just south of Las Vegas). In Ohio we adopted a bunny, Penguin, from Buckeye House Rabbits Society. He is great (he is litter trained and doesn’t chew on anything.) If any of you are thinking about getting a rabbit for your kids definitely use a House Rabbits Society . For right now, Penguin is our only kid. James and I are tentatively scheduling our wedding for June of 2009.
Although I can not attend the reunion I hope everyone has a great time! Old friends wishing to get in touch, my email is fysicsgrl@aol.com
