Gopi Nadella

The photos are me in Australia with some roos; me in uniform on Iwo Jima; and me towering in Tokyo (gotta love the SARs Mask). Hello everyone. I have enjoyed reading all of your class notes the last few weeks. It sounds like the reunion will be lots of fun. Unfortunately, I won't be able to partake in it. So whatever happened to Gopi Nadella? Well, after high school, I attended Baldwin-Wallace College and focused my studies on political science and history. When I realized that I would have to transfer those degrees into something that would actually pay the rent, I entered Law School at the University of Maryland. I graduated from Maryland in 2004 and passed the Maryland Bar that fall. While in law school, I worked for the Baltimore City Public Defender's Office and the U.S. Attorney's Office. Enjoying litigation, government service, and feeling patriotic, I pursued a commission in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. I was commissioned as an Officer in the JAG Corps in my last year of Law School and since graduating law school, I have been serving on active duty. Since joining the Navy, I have served entirely overseas. I have lived in Guam and Sicily and have done a Western Pacific Deployment at Sea. I am currently deployed to Djibouti in support of the Global War on Terrorism. My love of water has not diminshed any as I snorkel and scuba dive whenever I get the chance.
